It’s our 50th Anniversary, and we are so excited! In addition to our standard annual events, we are hosting an Anniversary Celebration in the Fall. We use our events to raise funds, encourage volunteerism, celebrate our programs or increase awareness for the agency. We hope you’ll consider joining us – you can have fun and support your community at the same time! Our 2022 events are:

“Run from Winter” 10K Race – Spring 2023

Every spring, we host a fun 10K race through beautiful Duke Island Park in Bridgewater. The event raises funds for Middle Earth and awards prizes to the top winners in 7 age groups.

Somerset Patriots Ballgame & Fireworks – Friday, July 22, 2022

Join us at 7:05 p.m. in TD Ballpark to cheer on the Somerset Patriots as they take on the Reading Fightin Phils! The night will be dedicated to Middle Earth, and we will offer giveaways, fun activities, and more! The game will end with FIREWORKS! Please call us at 908.725.7223 or email us to purchase tickets for this fun event! A portion of the tickets we sell will benefit our youth programs.

Somerset County 4-H Fair – August 10-12, 2022

Every August, Middle Earth hosts a hamburger stand at the Somerset County 4-H Fair at North Branch Park, encouraging volunteerism among our youth and raising funds for our agency. You can support us by purchasing food from our tent or volunteering to help with the food preparation!

FALL FESTIVAL 50th Anniversary Celebration – Saturday, October 8, 2022

Middle Earth will be hosting a Fall Festival for families in Somerset County. The event will take place at Billian Park in Bound Brook. The festival will feature music, food, a beer garden, a craft and vendor marketplace, pumpkin patch, inflatable rides and games and crafts for children, contests for pumpkin decorating, raffles, and much more!
